Hey guys! Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your weekend! I just wanted to pop up a quick update and let you know what I will be testing out in the coming weeks. Over the past few months I have slowly purchased a lot of new skin care items, and I figured I would share them with you. If you are interested in knowing how these products performed for me, just let me know and I'll review those ones first. Some of these brands are very new to me (I have not tried anything from Darphin, or Jurlique), and some are from brands I am already a huge fan of (Dr. Dennis Gross!).

As always, here are the links, details, and claims below:

Price: C$108.00

Size: 3.3 oz

Claims: Good for normal, combination, or dry skin types. An intensely moisturizing overnight treatment. Provides a visibly more contoured and defined complexion. Helps with free radical damage, elasticity, and soothes the skin. Contains peptides to help firm and hyaluronic acid to moisturize. Free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates.

*I bought this quite some time ago now, and it leaves my skin feeling extremely soft. Seems to have a decent ingredient deck as well - downfalls? Jar packaging and price? I will do a full review soon!

Price: C$45.00

Size: 1.26 oz

Claims: A balm that transforms into a milk with water. Leaves skin clean, smooth, supple, and radiant. Entraps impurities, nourishes, and relieves tightness. Made with botanicals and natural ingredients. Free of parabens.

*This is the first product I have tried from the line - I figured I'd try something fairly inexpensive to start! Haven't dug my fingers into this one yet.

Price: C$82.00

Size: 1 oz

Claims: Time released, helps infuse and seal in deep moisture. Firms, smoothes, and softens skin. Reduces appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Can use directly on specific areas or add to other skin care products. Free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates. Vegan and cruelty free.

*This product was highly recommended by Chris (check out his channel here). He is full of humour and has quite a large product range that he blogs about. Can't wait to try this on days where I am feeling dehydrated.

Price: C$42.00

Size: 3.3 oz

Claims: Lightweight, balances complexion, conditions, hydrates, softens, refreshes skin, and sets makeup. Prepares skin to better absorb serums and moisturizers. Quick drying, non-greasy, non-shiny, and non-sticky. Free of parabens, sulfates.

*Olivia Sohlen's favourite mist! It smells divine. Ingredient research and testing to begin soon.

Price: C$66.00

Size: 6 treatments (*one treatment shown here)

Claims: Great for all skin types. Professional strength, with 25% vitamin C. Ideal for dull and uneven skin or fine lines/wrinkles. Results within one use. Skin appears brightened, radiant, and fine lines are diminished. Free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates.

*This product was handed out an Ole Henriksen event (therefore, it is the only one I did not "pay for". A great friend of mine used 2000 hard earned Sephora points towards this night for us). We received facials using this product, however, they did not leave each treatment on for the required time noted in the instructions (due to time constraints). I will have to give this another go and let you know!

Price: C$110.00

Size: 1 oz

Claims: Reduces fine lines and imperfections. Firms and retexturizes skin. Free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates. Vegan and cruelty free.

*I am a huge fan of Dr. Dennis Gross, and this is the first product from the ferulic and retinol line that I have purchased - I hope to see some strong results.

Price: USD $38.00 (*item not sold in Canada - I had a friend bring this to me)

Size: 1.68 oz

Claims: For normal to dry skin types. Leaves skin supple, smooth and nourished. For intense hydration. Provides up to 26 hours of moisture. Non sticky. Free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates.

*Sadly, this product is not sold in Canada (you can order it through Korean websites). I wanted to try this because of a recommendation from Stephanie Nicole (you know I'm a huge fan of this brilliant woman!). She uses this for hydration and mixes it with the Fresh Seaberry Oil - I cannot wait to try her concoction!

Price: USD $80.00 (Not available on Sephora Canada)

Size: unknown

Claims: Gel formula. Corrects past UV damage and prevents further damage. Contained in an airless pump to maintain the stability of the ingredients. Reduces wrinkles, firms and brightens skin. Supports natural cell regeneration and collagen production. Intensely hydrating and fast absorbing. Remains effective 72 hours. Increases radiance and luminosity. Contains zero additives. Formulated with a pH 3.3 to 3.5 to remain clinically effective.

*I have been using the Ole Henriksen Truth serum and cannot wait to compare the two. I will hopefully do a 'Vitamin C Battle' for you guys!

That's everything ladies and gents! Again, let me know if you have tried anything and what your thoughts are. I love to babble about this sort of thing.

Much love,

- AH
