I'll admit, sometimes I stalk the 100 point perks on the Sephora website waiting for something worthwhile. When the opportunity strikes, a purchase at the "crack house" is made. This was one of those moments...I actually made this order a while ago, but just haven't got it up yet.
On a side note, I am also thinking of making a "You Tube Made Me Buy It" post, what do you guys think? Just to show how easily influenced I can be...but more importantly who sold me on it, and was it worth my hard earned money or not. Most often I try to do my own research before purchasing a product - I really put thought into each order...too much thought. Over time, I have learnt who I trust and who seems to over hype each and every trend on the market. Here is my mini purchase... I'll have an empties up soon as well. xo!

Claims: Alcohol and oil free. Contains alguronic acid, witch hazel and chamomile that tones and soothes skin. Complexion appears revitalized, brightened, and softened.
*[FYI, I have combination skin, that is leaning more on the dry side during winter]. This is my second bottle of this, and I do enjoy it. This toner looks and feels like water, and is unscented. BUT I haven't really noticed any great change in my skin (for better or for worse). Moving forward, I want to try a toner packed with more beneficial ingredients. My favourite YouTube beauty guru Stephanie recommends this one: CoQ10 Lotion by DHC (it contains a high concentration of free radical fighting super-antioxidant coenzyme Q10, promoting collagen and elasticity). You can also find it on amazon here. That will be my next buy.

*I always forget about my poor hair, it definitely comes last in my life. I am not a big hair product junkie, but since my hair is thick, colour treated, and frequently blow dried/heat styled...I thought I'd give it some love. This product was recommended by another YouTuber Mary. Fingers crossed. So far, it really detangles and softens my hair. The scent is just ok (not as "tropical-y" as they describe).

Claims: Described as a nude-pink, matte-radiance highlighter. Ideal for all skin types, natural looking, shimmer-less. For a no-makeup glow.
*At first thought, this is too dark for my pasty complexion. I haven't dared try it yet, but when I blend it on my hand with one single swipe you can see how shear it becomes. It literally disappears. Hmm. Has anyone tried this?? If so, how did you apply it?

Claims: A nourishing conditioner with a calming rose scent. A nude shade that compliments all skin tones, and can be topped over lipstick. Repairs lips all day long.
*I actually ordered two of these; I am so excited to try this! I've heard that the rose scent is not too overwhelming - which is perfect. It is currently sold out on Sephora's website, so if you are interested add yourself to the email list. I'll keep you posted.

Claims: For all skin types. A leave on mask that restores volume and smoothes skin. Contains hyaluronic acid, peptides, and an "Adipofill'in™ Complex" - which they claim is age-defying. This product is supposed to be used in the middle to lower part of face, smile lines and marionettes. AND it revolumizes jowl and cheekbone contours.
*Hmm. That is all I have to say...can you tell I'm skeptical?
