Colour Correcting...The 2016 trend?

Everyone predicted "glowing skin" as the trend for 2016, and there have been a ton of new serum foundations...but has anyone noticed how many colour correcting products just came out of nowhere?! And they continue to show up!
If you're dealing with dark circles, redness, brown spots, dullness, or hyperpigmentation - maybe these are for you? However, if you are dealing with slight discolouration, you might be fine with just a bit of foundation and concealer. Just remember, there is no need to over do it. Adding more layers of makeup in your routine can cause everything to "cake up" and look unnatural (adding unnecessary texture to your skin). Eeep. I think, just use it where it's needed.
I was recently in Sephora swatching a few of these products, and I must say the formulas vary. Some are thick, some are thin, some are pigmented, some are not. Go in and test them out for yourself to be sure. Here is just a SAMPLE of what has recently come out on to the market. All have different price points, amounts of product, gimmicks, and unique claims - you decide! Yay or Nay?? Let me know if you have tried any, I would love to hear from you!

Claims: These creams are said to be sheer-to-medium, buildable coverage. The two finishing powders can be used on their own, or to set the creams. They are infused with an "advanced Arclay Youth Revival Bio-Available Mineral Complex" (WTF? who patents these names), which is said to minimize pores/fine lines, hydrate, and provide oil control all at the same time...somehow.
