Ok...so I have a HUGE bin of empties...It's really getting out of control. So time to post some mini reviews and recycle these beauts! Here is a good mix of high end and drug store stuff. My favourite this month?? The Dr. Dennis Gross alpha beta peel - if there is one thing to try in this pile that has started to change my skin for the better, it is those pads. I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E!

Price: C$6.47
Size: 6.77 oz
Pros: Removed all my makeup rather easily, I was really impressed. It did not strip my skin or break me out (I do have more oily/combo skin). The charcoal only consists of a small amount of the total ingredients in the product so don't be swayed by it, but it was really absorbent for the oil on my skin. Great price for the volume you get. A very light fragrance, not too overpowering.
Cons: It did not do anything life changing in terms of reducing pore size, getting rid of black heads (I use other products for that). So it is not really a "con", just something to be aware of if you are expecting miracles. Contains menthol - a potential skin irritant (it did not irritate my skin).
The Verdict: I enjoyed this cleanser and would repurchase.

Price: C$100.00
SIze: .5 oz
Pros: Absorbs quickly. Makeup application goes on well. It is moisturizing and not too heavy.
Cons: Most of the beneficial ingredients are in such small quantities. Also, this jar packaging does not help for any ingredients that are light/air sensitive (they will start to break down upon first use) and sticking your fingers in it will only be a bacteria breeding ground! I did not notice any effects considering how much money you pay for a half ounce!
The Verdict: I would not repurchase.

Price: C$ 24.00 (for full size)
Size: 4 oz (full size)
Pros: None
Cons: I have combination to oily skin and this managed to even dry me out very badly. Your face feels so tight after you use it. It has fragrance in it (just an FYI), which isn't as bad in a cleanser since it is not sitting on your skin for a long peroid of time. It did not "deep cleanse" or detoxify. Expensive price considering the lack of effects and how drying it is.
The Verdict: I would not purchase this product because of how stripping and drying it was.

Price: $12.00 (for full size)
Size: Delux sample shown here
Pros: This smells so good to me haha. Very sweet, like dessert! Enriched with mango butter, shea butter and aloe vera. It does the job for a fairly inexpensive hand cream. Absorbs quickly into my skin and isn't too greasy.
Cons: It is highly fragrant if you are not interested in that.
The Verdict: Already purchased more! I just picked up a multi-pack of travel sized creams in four different scents. They are cute little creams that are perfect to put in your purse.

Price: US$35.00
Size: 1 oz
Pros: Matte finish, silicone free.
Cons: It balls up when I apply my makeup. This product makes some large claims that I do not feel it lives up to. The company claims it "instantly" reduces the appearance of pores and over time it decongests. It did not actually reduce my pores in any way, nor does the product deeply penetrate.
The Verdict: No I would not purchase this again.

Price: C$20-185.00 (varies by size/number of treatments)
Size: 5-60 treatments
Pros: I noticed a difference in my skin the very next day. Includes several antioxidants and retinol. A great blend of AHAs and BHAs that noticeably exfoliated my skin. Did not irritate my skin. Pores are smaller and less clogged, fine lines improved.
Cons: Does contain alcohol and witch hazel (skin irritants). Expensive price tag.
The Verdict: I have already repurchased these a few times, and I really should do a full review on this product!

Price: 4/C$20.00
Size: 8.75 oz
Pros: I liked this scent, it smells so springy! Fairly gentle, does dry my hands a little bit (but not as bad as some hand soaps).
Cons: None (other than if you don't like fragrance or the chemical shit storm of ingredients that are in their products lol).
The Verdict: Yes, I continue to buy these. I will keep it simple... Are there healthier and more environmentally friendly soaps out there? Yes. Do I like these? Yes. Am I contradicting everything I stand for? Probably lol. ;)
