Rimmel Wonder'Lash Mascara with Argan Oil Review

Now let's try to not get nautious when you hear that even a mascara has jumped on the "Argan Oil band wagon"... but really? Do I believe that having Argan Oil in a mascara will really benefit me? Do I even care what effect it will have on my lashes? I think you get where I am going...this fad is everywhere.

Claims: Smoothes and defines lashes with zero clump volume. Conditions lashes. Seperates lashes root to tip with easy brush application.

I think I am compelled to write this because this mascara was just so terrible. I tried to love it, tested it on and off for over a month...am I the only one that wasn't thrilled?

Firstly, the brush is very large, with extremely short plastic bristles. (See below):

The formula is very thin, and literally just blackens my lashes with no volume or length. It is possible to build with more than one coat, but even that is underwhelming.

The large brush continually hits your lids as you attempt to seperate your lashes with the short bristles. Not only that, but the biggest issues is that the wand is flexible it just bends as you apply it. This makes it difficult to get down to your lash line as well.

After multiple uses this mascara did form tiny clumps on the ends of my lashes as I tried to build some sort of length/volume with more than 1 coat.

Ultimately, it gives you a more natural look without volume.

The pro's (just so I don't sound like a negative ninny here...) are that it does last a long time and will not flake. It is buildable, but barely. It did not transfer for me (however I have heard it does on those who do not set their concealer). Lastly, it's easy to remove.

Verdict: Flop! (even for the US$8.99 price)

On the bright side! No one should suffer through an entire tube of bad mascara...so on to the next!
